All Expert sections of the Isle Du Bois Singletrack are MANDATORY. This is a challenge, there are no bypasses allowed. We promise you can’t miss them.

Lap Counts:
Rudolph’s Revenge is a unique race following an out-and-back lollipop design.

  • 30 mile racers will complete 1 lap of the Isle Du Bois DORBA trail.
  • 40 mile racers will complete 2 laps of the Isle Du Bois DORBA trail.

Aid Stations:
This race is considered self supported. Come prepared to complete the entire race with enough water and food. We suggest 2 bottles as a minimum and a hydration pack is a good choice for additional water. We will have an aid station setup at the Isle Du Bois DORBA Trailhead thanks to Bike Mart. There will be water and some snacks available there. Water can also be refilled at any State Park campground or bathroom facility in the park or at FM455 greenbelt parking lot.

**CAUTION** Be Aware of Other Trail Users
This race uses a 3 mile section of Multi-Use Equestrian Trail. Notices have been provided to the local equestrian club and we have put up signage indicating we have a race happening. Due to ACOE and TPWD policy we cannot fully close trails to public use. In the event you encounter a horse, hiker or another trail user please be cautious, allow the hiker, horse or rider to get safely off trail. For your safety and for theirs, this is important.

Rules of Racing:
We keep it pretty simple, have fun, be safe, respect each other. Below is a short list of our guidelines.

  • Race Fair
This is a training race. Nobody here is competing for the Olympics or next World Cup. Aggressive or dangerous racing will not be allowed and should be reported to the race director. Any disputes should be brought to race admin during the protest periods following your race.
  • A Helmet for all racers and trail sweeps is 100% absolutely REQUIRED
No exceptions, if you are riding the trail while we are racing you must wear a helmet.
  • Correct # Plate Placement
The plate must be outside the cables, not bent, folded or altered in any way. Incorrect number plate mounting can result in disqualification or voided times.
  • Results should arrive via email to the registered address
Otherwise you will find a link to results on all DFW Series Racing social media pages.
  • Racers could be subject to time cuts
We have a limit of 6 hours on this event. Timing will conclude at 4pm or 6 hours after race start. Anyone finishing after the time cut will be marked as DNF.

  • If you are unable to finish the race (DNF) please check in with Race HQ before leaving.
This helps us confirm that all riders are accounted for at the end of the event.
  • Please stay for podium awards and post race teardown.
    We appreciate your support.
