DFW Series Racing began with humble beginnings in 2013. The definition of grass roots racing, it has grown into a staple of the North Texas mountain bike community. It started with paper plates as bibs and a simple weeknight multi-lap, short track format that brings people together to improve on skills, meet new friends and most importantly have fun.
The goal we have is simple, ensure that Dallas Fort Worth mountain bikers have races available that are Local, Accessible and Family Friendly. Our priority is an engaged community that has racing opportunities for all ages, skills and abilities.
Today, the DFW Series hosts over 20 races each year across the DFW metroplex across several unique venues and courses.
- DFW Summer Series
Our signature series of 8 races held from June to August at Erwin Park in McKinney Texas. - Rudolph’s Revenge
The one day classic and North Texas’ hardest mountain bike race held annually at Isle Du Bois State Park and Greenbelt in Aubrey Texas. - DFW Spring Series
5 races held from April to May at Gateway Park in Fort Worth Texas. - DFW Winter Series
5 races held from January to February at Northshore Trail in Flower Mound Texas.
The DFW Summer Series is organized by a volunteer team of local community members just like you. If you have the desire to get involved or have ideas on how to make the DFW Series even better please Contact Us and share your ideas.
We are always in the debt of our local trail advocacy and maintenance organizations, DORBA and FWMBA. They do not provide any funding, but their ongoing efforts to maintain and develop trails allows us to bring these fun filled events to our community. Both clubs feature annual memberships where all funding goes to support trail advocacy.
