The DFW Series mission is to provide Local, Accessible and Family Friendly trail events for ALL bodies across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our goal is to encourage people to get outdoors, get active and meet other like minded enthusiasts. We strive to host a weeknight training race in all 4 seasons at different locations across DFW. We also produce some one-day events from time-to-time.

Always Running w/ R&G 5K

Not a DFW Series event, but we are once again very grateful to be involved with this amazing group and to help provide fundraising for this organization that helps support bereaved mothers who have lost children and suffered domestic abuse.
This event isn’t just about the thrill of the run — your participation makes a difference! Proceeds from the Love Never Ends Trail Run support The Great Root Movement, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals in need. Your participation directly contributes to The RIZE Scholarship for bereaved mothers and victims of domestic abuse, enabling them to access vital therapy services and programs.

Ray Porter Memorial 6-Hour Race
October 11, 2025
Once again the annual Ray Porter Memorial 6-Hour Endurance Race is back to challenge riders to complete as many laps in 6 hours as possible. This race, now in it’s 14th year has been a community favorite. Held at Erwin Park in McKinney Texas and featuring the biggest pit party in the metroplex. Join a 5-person grande team, take in the excitement and BBQ while your teammates turn a lap.
For the first time ever the Ray Porter Memorial will include a trail running race as well. 6-hour solo, 2-person relay or 5-person grande relay categories are available.
All proceeds from this event go to the Big Pig Cancer Foundation 501(c)(3), a local non-profit organization that is helping DFW area residents during their battle with cancer.
Love Never Ends Trail Run

Not a DFW Series event, but we are once again very grateful to be involved with this amazing group and to help provide timing for this organization that helps support bereaved mothers who have lost children and suffered domestic abuse.
The 4th annual Love Never Ends Trail Run is going to Oklahoma at the YL Ranch in Atoka OK. Event distances include a 5k, Half-Marathon, 50k and 50 mile events.

The Quanah Hill Uprising is a day full of racing highlighted by the 6 hour Mile High Challenge. Can you complete 8 laps of Quanah Hill within that 6 hours to stake your claim to the history books? Race options include:

- 1 lap Time Trial.
