The DFW Winter Series returns to Northshore Trail in 2026! We have a 5 week series running between January 15 and February 12 on Loop 5 starting from MADD Shelter. There will also be 2 weeks reserved for weather make-up dates on February 19th and February 26th.

Series Results
Check series results for the overall in each category. The DFW Winter Series at Northshore Trail is a best 3 out of 5 races. If you don’t get a great result come back next week and knock off that poor result for a better one!
In the event of any rain cancellations or trail closures we will first attempt to utilize our alternate rain course located at Boy Scout trailhead. If conditions do not permit for use of our alternate rain course then we will move the race to one of our two rain dates on February 19th and February 26th.
Light up the night at the DFW Winter Series!
The DFW Winter Series is your home for 5 weeks of weeknight racing on Loop 5 of Northshore Trail in Flower Mound. With categories for every body this is the place to be to train, improve and compete this winter. Races will take place on Thursday Nights from January 15 – February 12, 2026.
Lights are REQUIRED for all racers at this event.
Both a white front light and a rear red blinkie light. It will be dusk when our juniors start and fully dark for women and men’s races. Rental lights are available in limited quantities each week through our registration page. Visit one of our local bike shops and DFW Series sponsors for great deals on all winter riding gear including lights.
Format
Races will be mass start on a short track course of 2.6 miles in length. Most categories will do multiple laps of the course. The course includes rock gardens, creek crossings and challenging climbs that will test all riders skills.

- Juniors – 6:00pm
- Women – 6:30pm
- Men, Singlespeed and Ebike – 7:15pm

Registration fee schedule is as follows:

- $30 – Preregistration period Adult 14 years +
- $40 – Late Registration period Adult 14 years +
- JUNIORS
- $20 – Preregistration period Junior under 13
- $30 – Late Registration period Junior under 13
